The movie Deadpool is one of the funniest movies I have seen in awhile. When I am looking for a good laugh, I usually turn to this movie. I mean who couldn’t like it, its a superhero movie and it is a comedy, and come on who can’t love a good movie with Ryan Reynolds in it. The movie follows the character Wade Wilson, who works as a mercenary. He is just a man living his life, finally he is happy in a long time he even has a girlfriend and he finds out that he has Cancer. He starts to give up in life, and turns to an evil scientist named Ajax who says he will cure his cancer, but he actually tortures him. He becomes a guinea pig and is an experiment. This is how he is transformed into Deadpool. He receives his superpowers through this experiment. You may ask to yourself, what is his superpower, being ugly? Well, his superpower is being able to heal very fast, so pretty much he is indestructible. He also has a twisted sense of humor. With Wade’s new superpowers, he transform into De...

I have never heard of the TV show, The Good Place , but its sounds very entertaining. I watched the TV show trailer and it looks like a very good program. It seems like a very funny show, and I kinda want to start watching it. It is about this women who finds out that she has died and has been sent to this Good Place which represents heaven. But in reality they have been sent to the Bad Place which represents hell where they will suffer. Each character goes through different struggles and suffer in different ways. The main character is trying to find out why she is here. The Good Place seems to have a diverse amount of characters living there including a robot, named is Janet. She knows pretty much anything you need to know. The program seems to show a lot of incongruity theory and benign violation. In the scenes described, its seems that there are many lines  that may offer a double take, making you think twice. The scene where she mentions the advice that her mother gave her i...

Since the winter season is coming upon us, I also am excited that Christmas is around the corner. Christmas in December is one of the happiest times during the year. The best part is the the Christmas cookies, decorations, and of course the holiday movies. One of the most popular Christmas movies is Elf. I would have to agree with you on how it is one of the best Christmas movies around. It actually took me awhile to fall in love with the movie Elf. I always thought it was corny and tacky and I never really understood it until a couple years ago. But now that I watch it every Christmas, I have to agree on how it is one of the best Christmas movies around. The movie itself is quite funny. Buddy the elf, is an orphan that Santa has brought back from the north pole. He doesn’t look like all of the other elves because he is a human. The whole point of the movie is that he goes to New York in search of his dad. One of the funniest things about the movie, is that buddy walks around downtow...

The Vines that Nikoleta posted are quite hilarious. It brought back some nostalgia to when Vine was the thing of our generation. Vine was the place to get a good laugh and was a place to make fun of people. I would have to agree with you when you say that almost every conversation with friends groups at the time used to always have a Vine reference in it. Now that Vine may not be as popular, it still is somewhat alive through other social media. Personally, it was never my go to social media but I enjoyed it at the time. Every now and then the Vines find a way to pop up in a newsfeed, and there even still being made as you mentioned. I watched the Vines that you provided and they are very funny. I think my favorite one is the Eggs one. It was about this “chicken” laying its eggs. The man came up to the “chicken” to take the eggs, and the “chicken” gets very upset because he took his eggs. It seems so stupid but it is so funny. This video is a prime example of the theories of humor. M...

The film, “The Big Lebowski” seems like an interesting movie. I viewed the trailer, because I have never really heard of this movie. I didn’t know what to expect, and the response made sense once I watched the trailer for the movie and read your (Zach’s) review. In the trailer, you could tell that the theories of humor really stand out. The film in general doesn’t really seem to make any sense, but this is in a good way. This nonsense makes it very funny, which shows the incongruity theory. There is just a lot happening all at once and seems all kinda random. The constant joking around and making fun of each other in the trailer really shows the superiority theory. Also, no matter how weird the scenes are or how inappropriate it looks, there seemed to be a little bit of relief theory inside, making the scenes more humorous. Along with watching the trailer, I watched a scene from the movie titled, “You're Entering a World of Pain Scene”. These scene takes place in a bowling alley....
